The Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” first made its debut in 2006, and its success led to a series of highly sought-after AJ4 releases. Now, in 2024, the iconic black-on-tone colorway is making a comeback, this time in a crisp white version, set to drop on August 24th. It’s bound to be a hit on many back-to-school shopping lists.
Though we’ve seen plenty of previews over the past year and recent official retailer images, Jordan Brand has now given us a detailed look at the “White Thunder” Jordan 4. While the “White Thunder” name is sticking for now, some enthusiasts have playfully dubbed them the “Panda,” a nod to the popular Dunk Low that has had a major impact on sneaker culture.
While the Air Jordan 4 isn’t as everyday-wearable as the Dunk, its growing popularity suggests this straightforward colorway will be a big seller as the new school year approaches.
