We’ve seen a lot of the products previewed in the first SNKRS showcase hit the shelves, like the Nike Air 180, ACG Rufus, and Eggplant Foams, but a few are still awaiting their retail debut. Among those is the Nike Clogposite. Recently, we’ve been seeing a steady stream of official images that give us a good look at its upcoming release. The latest version is all about the season, featuring a bold “Bright Cactus” colorway.
This mule model lives up to its name, covering its entire profile in neon. The bright color varies slightly, being a bit lighter on the synthetic tongue, a bit darker on the TPU midfoot, and translucent on the outsole. A few fire red accents on the Swooshes add some contrast to the otherwise uniform look.
Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see how the Nike Clogposite performs in stores. With the rise of models like the New Balance 1906L and Air Jordan 1 Golf Mule, the market seems open to comfortable, laid-back styles. Considering the Clogposite wasn’t a big hit during its initial 2000s run, its success this time around could influence whether Nike explores more Y2K-inspired designs in the future.
The Nike Clogposite Bright Cactus is set to release as part of Nike’s Fall ’24 collection, with a retail price of $140.
