While models like the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 have grabbed the spotlight, the Nike Pegasus 2K5 hasn’t received as much attention. However, this shoe, with its early 2000s design flair, is making a bold statement with its new silver and yellow colorway.
It’s hard not to notice the similarities to the popular “Racer Blue” and “Electric Green” versions of the Vomero, featuring a mix of metallics on top and bright contrasting colors on the mesh. Yet, the Pegasus 2K5 stands out with its own unique style, highlighted by a chunky, pure white sole that leans into the “dad shoe” trend.
The curved lines at the midfoot hint at its late 90s influence, even though it was designed years later. With top-notch running technology from that era, the shoe offers great comfort while keeping a retro vibe.
Set to release in Fall ’24, the Nike Pegasus 2K5 will be available on Nike.com in the coming weeks. The shoe will be offered in women’s sizes and priced at $150.
