The Jordan Spizike, Jordan Brand’s longest-standing hybrid model, has caught the attention of Oregon executives as they plan its significant comeback in 2024. Towards the end of last year, it was announced that the iconic silhouette would be receiving its first-ever low-top edition, and since then, a steady flow of new variations of the refreshed sneakers has been introduced. The latest iteration, the Jordan Spizike Low, draws from recent Jordan Brand history with its “White/Obsidian” color scheme, set to debut across all size ranges.
Surprisingly, despite the numerous past editions of its composite models, this is the first instance of a navy and white color combination. Among Spike Lee’s collaborations, only a predominantly blue pair from 2017 shares similar tones. The recent “Midnight Navy” editions of the Air Jordan line serve as clear reference points, particularly the Jordan 3, 4, and 6, which contribute structural elements to the Spizike. Even the Jordan 5 received a similar makeover in a recent collaboration with A Ma Maniere, establishing a strong and recent lineage of inspiration for the upcoming release.
Official photos of the “White/Obsidian” Jordan Spiz’ike Low have been released well ahead of the anticipated summer launch. Upon release, these sneakers will be available in various sizes, catering to adults, grade schoolers, preschoolers, and toddlers. The retail prices are set at $170 for adults and $130 for grade school sizes.
