Things are looking up for Michael Jordan’s third signature shoe. Hot on the heels of the announcement about next year’s return of the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cat,” we now have a first look at June 2024’s Air Jordan 3 Quai 54, created to celebrate the annual Paris tournament.
Similar to the recently previewed Air Jordan 1 Low “Quai 54,” this new AJ3 boasts a sleek and refined design featuring the Quai 54 basketball logo embroidered on the tongue and visible on the heel beneath a translucent plate. The shoe sports a white leather base with a black suede panel in place of the usual elephant pattern, while a sail-colored midsole gives it a trendy vintage look. Interestingly, the iconic elephant print that made the Air Jordan 3 a classic is now featured on the shoe’s interior.
The Quai 54 tournament, started in 2014 by Hammadoun Sidibé with Jordan Brand’s support, has grown into one of the year’s premier basketball events.
Though the exact release date for the Air Jordan 3 Quai 54 hasn’t been confirmed, you can expect it to drop around late June, coinciding with the 2024 Quai 54 festivities.
