Get ready for the launch of Nike’s annual N7 collection, which celebrates Indigenous athletes who are driving positive change in their communities. By offering these limited-edition products, Nike supports organizations that promote physical activity and exercise, with proceeds dedicated to these causes. Among the highlights of this collection is the Air Max 1, showcased in official images from Nike.
The Air Max 1 stands out with a striking color scheme featuring light orange and blue accents, a black suede mudguard, and a sesame-colored midsole. The design is enhanced with thick ribbon laces and exposed stitching, maintaining the classic spirit of the original 1987 running shoe. The N7 logos are prominently displayed on the tongue and insole, with a unique Swoosh logo emblem as a special touch.
Recently, Alissa Pili, a standout Nike N7 athlete and the newest member of the Minnesota Lynx, was signed as a Nike Basketball athlete. Representing the Polynesian and Indigenous communities, Pili has made her mark from Anchorage to her college career at USC and Utah, now shining in the WNBA. Nike’s N7 initiative continues to promote health, exercise, and activity in Native communities.
The 2024 N7 collection is set to release this June, with the Air Max 1 priced at $160 among other exciting offerings. Stay tuned for more details.
