Following the successful launch of three colorways for the 247, EQLZ now introduces its first limited-edition colorway, EQLZ 247 Hidden Gem. This special edition pays homage to players who rose to prominence without media hype, national rankings, or viral highlights. It celebrates the journey of unsung heroes like Ben Wallace, Alex Caruso, and Jeremy Lin—players who were raw, uncut, and full of potential. With the “Hidden Gem,” EQLZ aims to discover the next hidden talent in basketball.
For this unique release, EQLZ designer Aaron Cooper collaborated with @goku_equalizer, an underground streetball legend from Beijing turned artist. The shoe features an all-black upper, with the mesh knit wrapping the midsole and the leather rand through an engineered heating process. The TPU details appear in emerald green with a subtle iridescence, symbolizing the hidden gem embedded in rock.Here’s the twist: only 247 pairs of the EQLZ 247 Hidden Gem are available, and each pair will be given away through a unique submission process.
