Up next is May 1st, marking the birthday of Gigi Bryant — Kobe’s daughter tragically lost in the helicopter crash on January 26th, 2020.
In line with the “Mambacita” tradition, Nike and Vanessa Bryant collaborate to craft an exquisite white, gold, and black color scheme for a Kobe shoe. The Kobe 8 “Mambacita” showcases a refined butterfly pattern on its engineered mesh upper, complemented by golden accents adorning the Kobe sheath and embroidered Swoosh emblems on both sides. The heel features “Gigi” alongside her jersey number 2, while a distinctive golden hang-tag bearing the Mambacita wings logo completes the ensemble.
