Nike’s new Air Force 1 echoes the Killshot II

A few years ago, the Nike Killshot II embarked on an impressive journey of revival in the sneaker world, transitioning from obscurity to becoming one of Nike’s top sellers in the late 2010s. This retro tennis shoe typically features a white leather foundation, accented by grey suede overlays, gum soles, and a vibrant Swoosh. Thus, the resemblance is striking when comparing it to this Air Force 1.

While it might be a stretch to claim direct inspiration from the Killshot II for this pair, the similarities are undeniable, particularly with the matching “Malachite” hue on the Swoosh and heel, reminiscent of one of the Killshot’s popular color schemes. The upper is characterized by white leather as its base, complemented by “Phantom” suede overlays on the toe, eyelet, and heel sections. Completing the design, a light gum sole provides the finishing touch.
